F for Finite Element Method (FEM)

Protecting people – that is the motivation behind our work. And even in the event of an accident, vehicle occupants and other road users involved should be protected in the best possible way. It is therefore crucial for the development of protection systems to predict the possible consequences of an accident.

At VAIVA, we use the finite element method (FEM) for simulation with human models. Based on the FEM-simulation results such as the forces/stress applied on the human body and the deformation of the bones, it is possible to evaluate the injury risks of each body region through the injury risk functions developed at VAIVA. Furthermore the appropriate safety functions and systems can be developed to reduce the injury risk and to provide the maximal protection for the occupants.

By using effective methods, the safe mobility of the future can be created.

And F for Flexbility

We love what we do, but of course we also want to enjoy our free time to the full. And with our flexible options for organizing your working hours, work and leisure harmonize perfectly. Whether you’re an early bird or a night owl, an extended lunch break for a run or a walk with the dog. Or the compatibility with voluntary work. If the project situation allows it and in arrangement with your team, everyone is free to choose their own schedule. From Monday to Saturday and from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., there is plenty of scope for flexibility. So everyone can find the perfect framework for themselves and their life.
