In the engineering sector, we at VAIVA have specialized in developing innovative solutions that meet the future requirements of the automotive industry. Our team combines vehicle data with information from modern environment sensors such as radar, LiDAR and cameras in order to detect dangers at an early stage and activate protective systems if necessary – for example, in case of an imminent collisions. At VAIVA, we rely on the early use of simulation techniques to deepen system understanding and ensure ASIL-compliant implementation. With tools such as the SceneInspector for incremental probabilistic simulations and frameworks such as the Automotive Data and Time-Triggered Framework (ADTF), we ensure that our solutions are continuously optimized. This enables us to meet the high standards and norms in the automotive industry and to ensure the quality of our developments.

Safety through comprehensive testing and validation

An essential part of our development is the continuous testing and validation of all components and systems. Our expertise extends across the entire chain – from simulation to the validation of complex vehicle functions. Using methods such as software-in-the-loop (SiL), hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) and holistic test approaches (XiL), we ensure that all safety-relevant functions comply with the normative requirements, in particular ISO 26262. To this end, we continuously refine and optimize our processes and carry out internal and external audits.
